View file properties from the current document

You can view document properties or an aspect of its behavior such as whether the object is hidden).) from the currently open document or from the file list in the Open dialog box.

To view the file properties from the current document do the following:
1.  On the File menu, click Properties.
2.  To see other document properties, click File Properties.

Note: If the document is in a document library, the document library properties are displayed in the File Library Properties dialog box.
