Delete a cell, row, or column from a table

1. In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design .
2. To delete a cell do the following:
3. Place the insertion point in the cell that you want to delete.
4. On the Table menu, point to Select, and then click Cell.
5. Right-click on the cell, and then click Delete Cells on the shortcut menu.
6. To delete a row do the following:
7.Place the insertion point in the row that you want to delete.
8. On the Table menu, point to Select, and then click Row.
9. Right-click on the row, and then click Delete Rows on the shortcut menu.
10. To delete a column do the following:
11. Place the insertion point in the column you want to delete.
12. On the Table menu, point to Select, and then click Column.
13.Right-click on the column, and then click Delete Columns on the shortcut menu.
