How to specify an expiration date for an e-mail message

This Mhelp clip will show you how to specify an expiration date for an e-mail message.
This is useful if you want to  demonstrate to the recipient that the information contained in an e-mail is only valid until a specific date.
Note: This Mhelp clip begins from an open New Message form that already contains text.

This Mhelp clip has five steps.
1 - Click the Options tab.
2 - Click the More Options group dialog box launcher. A dialog box will appear.
3 - Under Delivery options, check the check box next to Expires after. The text boxes to the right of Expires  after will become active.
4 - In the text boxes, fill in the date and time that you want to set as an expiration date for this e-mail.
5 - Click Close. On the date you selected, the message header will appear with a strikethrough in the recipients Outlook folders.

                   This concludes the Mhelp clip.
