How to change the separator for thousands and decimals in Excel

                                                                                    This Mhelp clip will show you how to change the separator for thousands and decimals in Excel.

                                                                                    This Mhelp clip has seven steps.

                                                                                  1 - Click the Office button. A menu will appear.
                                                                                  2 - Click Excel Options. A dialog box will appear.
                                                                                  3 - Click the Advanced tab.
                                                                                  4 - Under Editing Options, make sure that Use system seperators is not checked.
                                                                                  5 - Under Decimal seperator, type the seperator you want to use.
                                                                                  6 - Under Thousands seperator, type the seperator you want to use.
                                                                                  7 - Click OK.
